Spotty Hair Band, or I Surprise Myself With a Craft Project

I don't usually do craft, but Posy was invited to a Spots and Stripes birthday party. She had the stripey dress, but no spots.

Yesterday we saw hair bands on this theme at a craft market, but not in the colours we needed.

Today I raided the felt drawer, and Posy chose a button. I sewed it all together and attached it to a hairband with a band of felt. Ten minutes. Done.

Such a sense of achievement! Maybe this is the drug that frequent crafters get high on.

Maybe there is something to this craft thing. Especially as it involves Using Up What I Have, No Waste, Not Shopping, and a Happy Eight Year Old. So many good things coming together...
